During the past 25 years, the Gallery has featured one person exhibitions by the following artists: Michael Heizer, Alfred Leslie, Mark di Suvero, Cy Twombly, Ursula von Rydingsvard, Dennis Oppenheim, John Duff, John Walker, Donald Sultan, Richard Pousette-Dart, David Smith, Donald Lipski, Jene Highstein, Nancy Graves, Richard Nonas, Alice Aycock, Ken Price, Richard Devore, Wes Mills, Jay Wholley, Tony Smith, Michael Hall, Carol Hepper, and Andrew Young, among others.
In group exhibitions, with titles such as Image and Mystery, Structure and Abstraction, Sense and Sensibility, Inside/Outside and Part to Part, the Gallery has featured works by artists including Sean Scully, Richard Serra, Frank Stella, Robert Mangold, Donald Judd, John Chamberlain, Willem de Kooning, Ellsworth Kelly and Robert Rauschenberg.
In addition to 20th century fine art, the Hill Gallery has continuously offered exceptional examples of American folk art, concentrating on the power and mystery of folk sculpture of the 19th and 20th centuries. The Gallery continues to pursue works which provoke and inspire the viewer.
